These guidelines keep your Discord community safe and welcoming for everyone.
General conduct
Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination and targeted toxicity are never welcome in Beacon Bot communities.
- Keep discussions civil, even when you disagree.
- Do not attempt to bypass moderation actions or evade bans.
- Follow directions from staff while a situation is being reviewed.
Moderation standards
Staff actions should be fair, consistent, and documented. Every member deserves a clear explanation when action is taken.
- Warn before escalating when the situation allows.
- Do not abuse staff permissions for personal disputes.
- Log significant actions for accountability.
Enforcement & appeals
Bans, mutes, and warnings exist to protect the community. Members may appeal decisions they believe were unfair.
Discord & communication
Use appropriate channels, respect staff decisions, and keep support requests in tickets rather than public arguments.
